Processing of personal data in connection with recruitment
In connection with recruitment for new positions at ShiftX, we process personal data about you as an applicant. This includes CV, diploma, application, certificates, references (which you provide), and any other information you provide. This is necessary for us to be able to assess your job application. The consequences of not providing such information are that we cannot assess your job application or offer you a job. The basis for processing is the GDPR, Article 6 (1) (a), which provides us with a basis for processing personal data that is necessary to be able to implement measures on the basis of the job application, with an aim to enter into an employment contract. The personal data is obtained from the applicant, but also from the references provided.
For applicants who apply for positions with us, we will store the personal data as long as the recruitment process is ongoing. If the applicant is not employed, we will delete the personal data no later than one year from the time the position was filled, unless consent has been given for further storage. You can withdraw such consent at any time.
If we conduct our own investigations in addition to the above, for example contacting someone who has issued a certificate, but who is not stated as a reference, the processing basis for such investigations is the GDPR Article 6 No. 1 letter f, which gives us a basis for processing information which is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest that outweighs the interests of the individual or fundamental rights and freedoms. Our legitimate interest is to find the right candidate for the position. In some cases, we may also request that a personality test be conducted, which is also based on our legitimate interest in finding the best and most suitable candidate for the position.
For more information on how we process personal information and your rights in connection with the processing, please see our privacy policy.
